Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Fendi White Zucca Mini Mon Tresor Bag for a while now. I mean, it’s just so classic, right? The white with the Zucca print is just timeless. And mini bags? They’re totally my jam right now. So, I finally decided to go for it and make my own.
First things first, I needed to find some white fabric. I hit up my local fabric store, and they had tons of options. I spent a good hour just feeling different textures before I found the perfect one – a nice, sturdy canvas that felt like it could hold its shape. Then came the fun part – the Zucca print! I searched everywhere, finally found a shop and bought a print template.
Getting the template onto the fabric took a bit of patience. I carefully measured and cut out the fabric pieces based on a pattern I found. I pinned the template, and then slowly, carefully traced the design onto the fabric with a fabric marker. It was a bit tedious, but I wanted to make sure it was perfect.
Once the design was on, it was time to sew. Now, I’m no pro with a sewing machine, but I know the basics. I started by sewing the main body pieces together, making sure to reinforce the seams so it would be nice and strong. Then, I attached the base, which was a bit tricky because of the round shape. I had to go slow and make sure everything lined up perfectly.
- Sewing the lining was probably the easiest part. I chose a simple white cotton fabric for the inside, just to keep things clean and classic.
- The drawstring closure was a new challenge for me. I found a nice white cord that matched the bag perfectly, and I followed some instructions on a sewing blog. It was a bit fiddly, but I managed to get it done!
Adding the finishing touches was the most satisfying part. I attached a small Fendi logo that I had, just to give it that extra touch of authenticity. And, of course, I needed a strap. I found a simple gold chain that I thought would look great with the white and Zucca.
It took me a whole weekend, but I finally finished my Fendi White Zucca Mini Mon Tresor Bag! It’s not exactly like the real thing, but I’m super proud of it. It’s got that classic Fendi vibe, and it’s the perfect size for carrying my essentials. Plus, it was way cheaper than buying the real deal. I learned so much during the process, and it was actually a lot of fun. I might just have to try making another one in a different color!
Anyway, I just wanted to share my little DIY project with you guys. Hope you liked it!
