I actually found some! I started reaching out to all sorts of sellers, asking about the quality, the materials, the movement, the whole nine yards. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t some cheap knockoff that would fall apart in a week.

If you’re like me, and you love the look of the 5738R but can’t stomach the price, a remake might be worth considering. Just do your research, ask a lot of questions, and don’t expect a perfect replica. But for a fraction of the price, you can get a watch that captures the spirit of the original.
