Alright, let me tell you about this little project I got myself into. I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm for a while now. You know, the one that’s like the little brother of the famous Moonwatch. First off, I started by reading up on it. I ain’t no watch expert, but I like to know what I’m getting into, you know?
I dug around the internet, reading forums, and whatever else I could find. It took me a long time. There’s a whole lot of chatter about this watch. Some folks say it’s great for people with smaller wrists, others say it’s a good everyday watch. I found a bunch of posts, like one from back in May 2020 on some Omega forum, and another older one from February 2018. People were talking about the Speedmaster 38 Black, model number 324.30.38.50.01.001, if you’re into that sort of thing. There was even one from March 2017 where folks were just giving their opinions on the new 38mm Speedmasters.
So, I started poking around to see where I could get one of these. You see all sorts of stuff online, but I wanted to make sure I was getting the real deal. Then, there was this one post I found where someone was asking if their watch was a fake! It’s so difficult to distinguish between authentic and fake watches now! Man, that got me nervous.
After a lot of looking, I found a seller that seemed legit. We exchanged a few messages, I asked a bunch of questions – probably annoyed the heck out of them, haha. But hey, you gotta be careful, right? Especially when there are so many fakes out there.
Anyway, I finally decided to go for it. Pulled the trigger, as they say. Paid the money and waited. It felt like forever, but finally, the package arrived. I ripped that box open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm in all its glory.
Here’s what I found out about this watch:
- It’s got this automatic movement thing, the OMEGA Calibre 3330. Sounds fancy, right? I guess it means it winds itself, which is pretty neat.
- It’s water-resistant, but not like, super deep-sea diving resistant. More like, don’t freak out if you get caught in the rain, I guess. They say don’t push the buttons underwater, though.
- You can get it in different materials, like steel or gold, or a mix of both. I went for the stainless steel one. I like to keep it simple.
- They say it’s for both men and women, so I guess that’s a plus.
- Apparently, the goal is to turn heads, so they added some diamonds.
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with it. It feels good on the wrist, not too heavy, not too light. It looks good, too. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it already. Is it worth the money? Well, that’s up to you. But for me, yeah, I think it’s a solid choice. It’s a good watch that’s gonna last me a while. I think it’s a pretty darn good watch for the price.
My final thought?
If you’re looking for a watch that’s like the Moonwatch but not quite, and maybe a bit smaller, this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm is worth checking out. Just do your homework, make sure you’re buying from someone you trust, and enjoy it!
