Well, let me tell you, I went to the city the other day, saw all them fancy stores. My granddaughter, she loves them Fendi bags. Says they’re all the rage. Me? I don’t know nothin’ ’bout fancy. But I wanted to get her somethin’ nice. She kept talkin’ ’bout this one bag, the Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag, kept showin’ it to me on her phone.
She says, “Grandma, it’s the perfect size!” And I said, “Perfect for what? Carryin’ rocks?” She just laughed. Kids these days. This Copy Fendi bag, it’s a small one, she says. Small Peekaboo ISeeU she calls it. Made of leather, she says. Soft, like a baby’s bottom. And it’s got this lock thing on both sides. Twist lock, she calls it. I don’t know why you need to lock a purse, but what do I know? If it’s a Fendi store,it must be good,right?
Now, I saw some bags that looked just like it, but cheaper. Way cheaper. My granddaughter, she warned me ’bout them. “Grandma,” she says, “don’t you go buyin’ no fake Fendi! You gotta get the real deal.” Real deal, huh? Like there’s fake cows out there makin’ fake leather. And those Counterfeit Goods,are not good,just like fake eggs.
She told me to look for a hologram sticker inside. Says the real ones got ’em. Like a shiny rainbow in your purse. The sticker is important, she says. Started puttin’ them in the bags a while back, she says. Sometime after 2004, before 2010. Only a real Genuine Fendi Bag has it.
And the handle, she says, gotta look at the handle. The fake ones, they got a different curve to ’em. Like a wonky fence post. The real ones, they’re all proper and straight, like they should be. And there is a FENDI text on the buckle,and MADE IN ITALY text on the inner * fakes,the text is thin,like a starving cat.
She went on and on about it. Seemed like a lot of fuss for a purse. But she’s a good girl, and I wanted to make her happy. So I went to one of them Specialty Stores. Big and shiny, it was. Salespeople all dressed up like they’re goin’ to a wedding.
They had the bag. The Peekaboo ISeeU Small. Beige, it was. Pretty color, I guess. Inside was pink and brown. Like a Neapolitan ice cream. Soft, that leather was. Just like she said.
- The lady in the store, she told me it’s called Peekaboo cause of some game kids play.
- Peekaboo, I see you! Sounds silly to me.
- But what do I know about kids’ games these days?
- ISeeU Small bag is bigger than Peekaboo mini.
This Copy Fendi Daning Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag is not cheap. Not cheap at all. But my granddaughter, she’s worth it. She’s a good girl. Works hard. Deserves somethin’ nice. They said it is a Iconic Fendi bag.I don’t know what is Iconic,but it must be good,right?
I checked for that sticker, the hologram one. It was there, shining away. The handle looked right, too. Not wonky at all. And the lock, it twisted just like the lady showed me. So, I bought it. Cost me an arm and a leg, but it’s the real deal. A Genuine Fendi Bag, just like she wanted.
I hope she likes it. It’s just a purse, but it’s more than that, I guess. It’s a little piece of that fancy world she likes so much. And if it makes her happy, then it’s worth every penny. She said she will use it to carry her phone,her money,and other * Fendi Baguette Bag,is also very * I don’t know much about it.
Now, I just gotta figure out how to wrap it. Maybe I’ll put it in a feed sack. That’ll give her a good laugh. She always says I’m too old-fashioned. Maybe I am. But I know a good heart when I see one, and she’s got the best. And that’s worth more than any fancy Fendi bag, that’s for sure. A good Fendi bag is important,but a good heart is more important. I hope she can understand.
