Today, I got my hands dirty trying to remake a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227J-001. It’s a classic style, and I’ve always been drawn to its simple, elegant look. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

I also added a sapphire crystal glass. I read somewhere that it’s scratch-resistant, so I figured it would be a good choice. It gives the watch a nice, clear look.

Now, I’m not saying my remake is as good as the real thing. It’s more of a “inspired by” piece. And I definitely wouldn’t wear it to any fancy events. This is more of a fun project watch, something to wear around the house or when I’m working in the garden.
