Well, let me tell you, I seen a thing or two in my day. And that Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag, that’s somethin’ else. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it, ‘cept maybe in them fancy magazines my granddaughter reads. She keeps talkin’ ’bout “CopyFendi,” “Online Store,” and “Daning” somethin’ or other. Sounds like a whole lotta gibberish to me, but she sure does love them bags. She’s always sayin’ you can buy them online, shop online, get the best price, best quality, and I don’t know what else. She’s like a broken record! I told her, “Honey, you save your money for somethin’ useful!” But she don’t listen to old me.
This here Peekaboo bag, it’s a little fella. Small, they call it. But you can fit a good amount in there, I reckon. Maybe your hanky, your hard candies, a couple of them dollar bills for the bingo hall. My granddaughter, she puts all sorts of things in her bags. Lipstick, phone, wallet… you name it. I swear, it’s like she’s carryin’ around a whole other house in there! That’s why she likes that shop online thing, she can find all sorts of sizes and colors.
They got all sorts of these bags now. Big ones, small ones, all different colors. This Fendi one, it’s special though. Got that fancy name, “Peekaboo ISeeU.” Sounds like a baby talkin’, don’t it? Peekaboo! I used to play that with my little ones. Now they’re all grown up, with kids of their own. Time sure does fly, don’t it?

Says it’s stylish. Says it’s trendy. I just don’t know about these young’uns and their fads. And the price! Oh, the price is high, you know.
She keeps goin’ on about this “Online Store” where you can buy these things. Says it’s easy. Says you just click a few buttons and boom, it’s at your door. Back in my day, we had to walk miles to the store, uphill both ways, in the snow! And we liked it! These kids today, they got it too easy, I tell ya. They don’t know what hard work is.
She showed me pictures of this bag online, this CopyFendi thing. It’s a nice-lookin’ bag, I’ll give it that. Got a nice handle, a little latch. Looks like it’s made of good stuff, good leather, maybe, that Daning stuff. You can tell it will last, not like the cheap stuff you see now. Everything now is made cheap. Falling apart after a week. Not like in my day, no sir.
I told her, “If you want that Peekaboo ISeeU bag so bad, you gotta work for it.” She’s got a little job at the diner, but she spends all her money on clothes and makeup, such a waste. I told her, “You need to save your pennies.” She says you can get it cheaper online, at some outlet or somethin’. But I don’t trust that internet stuff, too many scams, too many thieves.
I guess if you got the money, and you really want that Fendi bag, then go for it. It’s your money. But me, I’d rather spend my money on somethin’ practical. Like a new pair of shoes, or maybe a nice pie. Or maybe a trip to the bingo hall. I do love my bingo.
