Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227J-001 for a while now. I mean, who wouldn’t? So I thought, why not try to remake one myself? How hard could it be, right?

The End Result
After all that work, I finally had my own “Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227J-001” in my hands, actually it is just a normal watch but looked very similar with the one I want. It wasn’t perfect, of course, but I was pretty darn proud of it. It looked surprisingly good, and it actually kept time pretty well! I learned a lot about watches and what goes into making them. Plus, I saved myself a ton of money. Would I do it again? Maybe. It was a fun project, but it was also a lot of work. For now, I’m happy to wear my little creation and dream about the real thing.
