Okay, so I saw this YSL JUNE BOX BAG and I just had to have it. It’s like, the perfect little bag for summer. I started looking around to see if I could find it anywhere, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. This thing is popular!
I started with the official YSL website. I mean, it’s the best place to find real and official products. I browsed through their Spring 25 collection, and it wasn’t there! Disappointed, I went on searching. I looked at all the online stores. I even checked out some of those websites where people sell their used stuff. Nothing. I was starting to get a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to find it.
Then, I had an idea. I remembered seeing a video on YouTube a while back about a girl who remade a designer bag. I thought, “Why not try that?” It seemed like a fun project, and I was pretty sure I could do it.
So, I went online and started looking for materials. I needed some good quality leather, a sturdy zipper, and some gold hardware. I found a few online shops that sold these kinds of things, and I placed an order. While I was waiting for my supplies to arrive, I spent some time studying pictures of the YSL JUNE BOX BAG. I wanted to make sure I got all the details right.
- First, I sketched out the design on paper, making notes of the dimensions and the placement of the logo.
- Next, I created a pattern based on my sketch. I cut out the pattern pieces from some scrap fabric to make a test version of the bag.

I also compared the Herms’ handbags with the YSL bags. Though they all made of great quality leather, I still chose YSL, which has a little bit more modern style, at least to me.
